ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: For the UCLAN modules:

  • UK Honours degree (2:2 minimum) in a relevant subject, or five years’ work experience in a relevant field
  • Equivalent qualifications from other countries will be considered
  • Certified Proof of English Language knowledge to a score of at least IELTS 6.5 or equivalent according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Course Structure

This course structure is designed for a part-time pathway with a study duration of 2-3 years. After the successful completion of all three ICSI hands-on online training courses, students are eligible to apply to UCLAN for the distance learning assessment.  The full MSc course consists of six modules (at 20 credits each) and an MSc Project/Dissertation (at 60 credits).

Stage 1: Online

The programme begins with three ICSI hands-on training courses which will grant you three industry-recognized professional certificates to immediately enhance your professional credentials. The professional awards you can apply for are:

  • Certified SOC Analyst (CSA)
  • Certified Penetration Tester (CPT)
  • Certified Digital Forensics Examiner (CDFE)

Additionally, Albion Business School provides specialized workshops and business-focused modules to supplement your learning. At this point you can apply for roles in the industry once you have gained the professional certificates.

Fees will be 3900 euros.

Stage 2: Online or On-Campus

After completion of the three online modules, you will be eligible to apply to join University of Central Lancashire in Cyprus through their Campus or online delivery to gain a full MSc.

Fees to be paid to the University for students who completed the 60 Credits (APL) via stage 1 and continue towards the MSc:

  • On Campus: 5950 euros
  • Distance Learning: 5334 euros

You will need to be aware of additional charges:

  • Application Fee: 50 euros  ( Non-Refundable)
  • Visa Fee: 210 euros ( visa and ARC application ) ( Non-Refundable)
  • Deposit/Registration fee for non-EU: 3000 euros before the Entry permit is issued, 2000 euros after the entry permit is issued and the rest upon arrival.
  • Student Pass:  100 euros from the new academic year
  • Medical test: 60-70 Euros

The Cyprus Migration Department does not typically approve Entry permits for dependents of students.
If any dependents wish to visit Cyprus, they must apply for their visa independently and may not be permitted to stay for an extended period.

Students who successfully complete a Postgraduate degree are granted a 1-year period to search for employment in either Cyprus or the EU. If they secure a job, they have the opportunity to convert their visitor status to a work status.

Teaching and Assessment

Assessment is via a combination of tests, coursework, projects, and other laboratory-based assessments. For postgraduate awards, students must successfully accumulate the following credits:

  • Postgraduate Certificate: 60 credits
  • Postgraduate Diploma: 120 credits
  • MSc: 180 credits
