As an Assistant Lecturer, you will be responsible for our students’ progression and academic achievement up to level 6. You will be teaching modules both in the classroom based on our cutting edge curriculum and online teaching material. 

Applicants should have suitable and relative experience in teaching business management as well as a variety of other business management subjects and must hold a qualification in a related subject area. 

You will be a core member of the module team, working in close collaboration with other subject lecturers to teach the curriculum across a range of modules. 

We are looking for three roles:

  • One is based in Juba, South Sudan
  • One is based in India, supporting online students
  • One is global supporting our online programmes

Main Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • All aspects of planning and delivering face to face seminars, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met.
  • Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials including live and online learning.
  • Ensuring / supporting / managing students’ progression and academic achievement
  • Make suggestions on how to develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate.
  • Attend School meetings as required, in order to contribute to the decision-making process and to develop productive working relationships within the team.
  • To actively be involved in staff development activities and peer observations

Requirements

Essential:

  • Degree level or equivalent in Business, Accounting or a related subject
  • Previous lecturing experience for similar courses
  • Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the industry of your subject
  • A relevant Teaching Qualification
